Camin Cargo Control is pleased to anounce that Pasadena is now fully capable running CRUDE ASSAYS by using its crude assays distillation units! They have successfully tested the unit by running a test crude oil by both ASTM D 2892 (Atmospheric part) and D 5236 (Pot Still, the Vacuum Distillation part) and made the following cuts:
| 1. First Cut (Light Naphtha) | 20-80 deg C | 1.63% Vol | Atmospheric (ASTM D 2892) |
| 2. Second Cut (Heavy Naphtha) | 80-150 deg C | 5.52% Vol | Atmospheric (ASTM D 2892) |
| 3. Third Cut (Kerosene Cut) | 140-250 deg C | 9.20 % Vol | Vacuum 20 mm Hg (ASTM D 2892) |
| 4. Fourth Cut (Gas Oil) | 230-375 deg C | 12.87% Vol | Vacuum 10 mm Hg (ASTM D 2892) |
| 5. Fifth Cut (Pot Still) | 375-500 deg C | 10.62% Vol | Vacuum 1.0 mm Hg (ASTM D 5236) |
| 6. Sixth Cut (Residue) | > 500 deg C | Balance | |
Crude API = 28.3
Crude S = 0.48% w

Please share this with your contacts and let us start getting some crude assay work. This process takes a minimum of 4 days, one week TAT should be a good one. Tests on the cuts are run in the laboratory for which we have nearly full capability.
