Biodiesel Testing

Biodiesel, also known as FAME (Fatty Acid Methyl Ester), is a clean burning alternative fuel produced from renewable resources derived from vegetable oils or animal fats. It can be used in diesel engines with little or no modifications. Biodiesel is biodegradable, nontoxic and virtually free of sulfur and aromatics.

Fuel grade biodiesel must be produced to meet strict industry specifications in order to ensure proper performance. In an effort to meet our customer’s needs, Camin Cargo Control has expanded its scope of services to include Biodiesel sampling and testing. Capabilities include full testing for both the ASTM D-6751 and EN 14214 specifications at both our Linden, NJ and Pasadena, TX facilities.

Camin Cargo Control’s Linden, NJ and Pasadena, TX laboratories are both BQ 9000 Certified.
