Fernando Assing

Chief Executive Officer | Fernando is a seasoned executive with a track record of leading global organizations, implementing transformational change, and building high-performance cultures. With deep expertise in financial management, operational efficiency, and strategic growth, he has successfully driven profitability and sustainable results throughout his career.

Having previously served on the Camin Cargo Board of Directors, Fernando brings a unique perspective on the company’s strengths and opportunities in the evolving market. His leadership is centered on fostering strong teams, ensuring compliance, and institutionalizing best-in-class processes to support long-term success.

As CEO, Fernando is committed to working closely with leadership teams, driving EBITDA growth, and strengthening Camin Cargo’s position as an industry leader. His passion for people, performance, and results will guide the company’s strategic direction in the years ahead.


Chris Morrison

Chief Operating Officer | As COO, Chris Morrison leads the largest Camin Cargo business units: US Lab & Inspections and the US Additives division.

Chris joined the company in 2002, starting in the laboratory, and has held several key leadership positions during his tenure. After being instrumental in leading Camin Cargo through the company’s most rewarding and most challenging periods, Chris accepted the promotion to Chief Operating Officer in 2022. Inspired by the dedicated employees around him, Chris focuses on building winning teams and maintaining a rewarding culture to solidify the company’s position as the industry leader, a trusted global brand, and as an employer of choice.

Chris’s strategic focus and 20 years of comprehensive experience are critical in advancing Camin Cargo’s mission of establishing and maintaining the highest levels of service, quality, and customer satisfaction in the Testing and Inspection industry.

Chris lives in Houston, TX and is deeply involved with his family and community. He enjoys coaching his children’s sports teams and volunteering for various charitable causes.

In his spare time, Chris is a skilled marksman and an avid wine enthusiast.


Marion Shtyrkalo

Acting Chief Financial Officer | Marion Shtyrkalo brings 22 years of finance professional skills. Marion earned roles with greater responsibility since joining Camin Cargo Control in March 2012. Having served as the VP of Finance for Camin, Marion brings extensive experience and a strong understanding of our financial strategy, insuring continuity as we move forward.

Marion’s banking background with experience implementing business strategies and improvements in operating performance contributed to the Camin Cargo success. 

Marion graduated from William Paterson University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance.


Pamela Turay

Chief Human Resources Officer | As Chief Human Resources Officer at Camin Cargo, Pam leads global HR strategy and corporate communications with a focus on attracting, developing, and retaining top talent to support long-term growth. An accomplished C-suite executive, she has successfully led mid- and large-cap organizations through transformation, M&A, strategic planning, and organizational redesign across sectors including industrial, manufacturing, fintech, ecommerce, and omni-channel retail.

Pam has also held governance roles on corporate compensation and retirement plan committees and served in board leadership positions on several for profit and nonprofit boards. She holds an MS in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Missouri State University and a BA in Marketing and Finance from Baldwin Wallace University, with additional studies in Economics and Communications. She is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Senior Consulting Professional (SHRM-SCP).


David Yellow Robe

General Counsel | David Yellow Robe has provided legal support to clients in the petroleum, chemicals, and additives spaces for more than 15 years, including extensive experience in M&A, capital projects, contracting, and risk mitigation in the oil and gas industry.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan Law School. Licensed to practice law by the State Bar of Texas in 2010, David has worked for a variety of chemical and energy companies, from startups to publicly traded companies. Passionate about his new role,

David is excited to help Camin Cargo navigate exciting growth opportunities through various legal and compliance matters. In his free time, David enjoys cooking and hiking, especially during the fall.


Neil Chapman

Vice President of Business Development | Neil Chapman brings over four decades of expertise in the inspection and testing industry to his role as Vice President of Global Business Development at Camin Cargo. With a degree in Chemistry from Chelmsford College (UK), Neil has led laboratories and operations across Europe, the Caribbean, Central America, and the United States.

Throughout his 41-year career, Neil has held global leadership roles overseeing the testing of oils and chemicals, engines, polymers, pilot plants, and both large and small molecule pharmaceuticals. His extensive technical and operational background uniquely positions him to drive strategic growth and innovation across Camin Cargo’s expanding global network.

Currently, Neil is focused on broadening the company’s global footprint and enhancing its service offerings, always with a keen eye on quality and client value. What excites him most about Camin Cargo is the opportunity to collaborate with an exceptional team, from lab and field staff to the senior management group.

When he’s not leading business development efforts, Neil enjoys practicing Krav Maga, where he holds a second-degree black belt.


Joeri Geurts

Vice President & Managing Director, Europe | Joeri Geurts joined our company in 2018 through Camin Cargo’s acquisition of MIOS, a fast-growing testing and inspection business, founded in 2012 and led by Joeri.

With extensive experience in the marine fuel industry, Joeri brings further valuable know-how to Camin Cargo Control’s already recognized capabilities. Joeri holds a Master in Law and began his career in London and Brussels as a qualified attorney-at-law, before also obtaining a Master in Maritime Sciences and moving on to be a legal counsel for a leading Maritime Shipping Group based in Antwerp.


Alvaro Marzullo Bonnefont

Vice President of Latin America | Alvaro Marzullo Bonnefont is a seasoned executive with over 25 years of leadership experience managing multinational corporations across Latin America, Asia, and Europe.

Specializing in industries such as energy, TIC, life sciences, manufacturing, and materials science, Alvaro has driven growth, managed regional P&Ls, and led numerous mergers and acquisitions. He holds an MBA in Strategic Management from FGV Brazil and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Universidade Mackenzie, Brazil.

As a Professional Engineer accredited by CREA in Brazil, Alvaro’s expertise spans oil and gas, green energy, pipelines, and specialty materials. Alvaro is eager to leverage his vast experience to drive strategic growth and enhance Camin Cargo’s presence and operations in Latin America.


Jennifer Ospina

Vice President of Sales – Americas | Jennifer Ospina brings over two decades of expertise in the Oil & Gas and Liquid Fuels industry, spanning roles in finance, refining supply, commercial trading, and sales leadership. She spent 17 years at BP in a variety of impactful positions before joining Camin Cargo Control, where she has served the past 7 years in sales leadership roles. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and is a proud member of the Women’s Energy Network.

At Camin Cargo Control, Jennifer partners across all company functions to deliver premier service within the TIC (Testing, Inspection, and Certification) industry. As Vice President of Sales for the Americas, she is focused on elevating the market strategy, deepening customer relationships, and accelerating commercial growth across the region. Jennifer is passionate about driving not just revenue but also meaningful internal collaboration and strategic impact throughout the organization.


Michelle Shea

Director of Global Lab Operations | Michelle joined Camin Cargo in 2017 as a Laboratory Manager in Pasadena, TX and quickly established herself as a driving force in the industry. With 19 years of experience in the energy and analytical sectors, she has held pivotal leadership roles including Pasadena Branch Manager, Houston Area Manager, Director of Renewables, Low Carbon Fuels, and Sustainability before stepping into her current position Director of Global Lab Operations.

A proud Baylor University alumna, Michelle earned her Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and has continued to deepen her expertise through programs like the Advanced Program in Sustainable Management at the University of California, Berkeley. She also serves as Vice Chair of the TIC Council’s Energy Laboratory Technical Committee.

Michelle brings a passion for collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence to her role, with a mission to ensure fuel quality, regulatory compliance, and efficiency across global markets. She thrives on working alongside talented teams to navigate complex challenges and deliver best-in-class customer service.

When she’s not driving strategic initiatives at Camin, Michelle fuels her love for fast cars, stays active with weightlifting, and explores new destinations through travel.


Mark Pond

Vice President of Global Inspection & Operations | Mark Pond brings over 40 years of experience in the inspection and testing industry. He has been with Camin Cargo for 14 years, having served as Houston Branch Manager, International Operations Director, and currently as Vice President of Global Inspection and Operations.

Over the course of his 41-year career, Mark has led laboratory and operational teams across Europe, the Middle East, Russia, the Caribbean, Africa, South America, and the United States. He has held global leadership roles overseeing oil and chemical testing, inspection and operations, and loss control. His extensive operational background positions him well to drive strategic growth and innovation throughout Camin Cargo’s expanding global network.

Mark is currently focused on ensuring the consistency of Camin Cargo’s service model as the company enters new markets worldwide.

What excites him most about Camin Cargo is the collaborative spirit across departments and the shared commitment to delivering high-quality service.

 Outside of work, Mark enjoys customizing and riding motorcycles.


Keith Kirvan

HSE Global Director | Keith Kirvan is a proven health, safety, and environmental (HSE) executive with over 30 years of global experience spanning industrial construction, manufacturing, chemical laboratories, inspection services, and distribution operations. Prior to joining Camin Cargo, Keith spent 20 years at Alcoa and another 10 years at Pentair, where he led comprehensive EHS programs and cultivated a strong track record of risk reduction, regulatory compliance, and cultural transformation.

He holds a BS in Occupational Health and Safety and is a certified ISO 14001/45001 Internal Auditor. As a member of the TIC and the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP), Keith brings a forward-thinking and collaborative approach to workplace safety. At Camin Cargo, he partners with global and regional operations, HR, legal, and frontline teams—as well as external auditors and regulatory bodies—to strengthen compliance and instill a proactive safety culture.

Keith is focused on driving continuous improvement through initiatives like Human & Organizational Performance (HOP), Serious Injury & Fatality (SIF) prevention, and alignment under an ISO 45001-compliant Safety Management System. Passionate about creating workplaces where employees feel empowered and protected, he looks forward to further enhancing Camin Cargo’s industry-leading safety standards.

Outside of work, Keith enjoys reading and playing both guitar and drums.
